It's a good thing we have the day off today because the weekend was packed! Lots of get-togethers with friends and lots of good food. One of the events was a graduation party for a friend who recently finished design school. She had liked the placemat tote I made a while back, so I thought I'd make her a tote from a napkin I bought at the same time.
This time I decided to use interfacing and I'm so glad I did. I also used an Amy Butler fabric for the lining, and like last time, included a pocket on the inside.

Wendy!
Thanks so much for coming to the party! And...I absolutely love my tote bag - you didn't need to do that (but I'm glad you did).

I love the lining of that tote. I'm trying to make a diaper bag/tote for myself and I'm using Amy's Midwest Modern fabric. What collection is that lining from???? btw, I'm a friend of Jieun's...
Hi Karen! It's from Amy Butler's "Belle" collection - the fabric is "seeds", the color "okra". Yeah, I love this pattern too -- good luck on your diaper bag! :)
ooooh! Thanks! Your site and crafts are all so cute!
Hi, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely comment - so kind. I just bought your Acorn cards, I adore them. P.S. I love this tote, great fabric choices. Is the fabric your design?
