Made some mango cucumber salsa today - perfect for a hot day like today.
I finally got around to taking pictures of the fabric I bought in Paris to share with you all. I was so excited to find the fabric used in the dress from the previous post.
And look what my sis-in-law, Janice, gave me! It turns out she learned how to sew recently and made these little drawstring pouches from a Japanese sewing book. I love it, and it's making me want to sew.
Thank you all so much for the congrats and well-wishes! It's hard to believe that I'm halfway through already. The pregnancy is going well, and we found out recently that it'll be a boy. Most of my fabrics are girly, so I'm going to need to start collecting some boy-ish or unisex prints!

Congratulations! Love the salad and that pouch is very cute :)
half way already ...
time is flying ...
he is almost here ...
little boys are great! congrats again!
I made some floral bibs (I created a pattern that doesn't turn too much around baby's neck and looks like a scarf, do you want it?) and my little boy even had some floral baby shoes he liked a lot. He used to sing to his feet when wearing them!
To people asking why, I said it's a baby, not a marine! And asked about hawain shirts and liberty ;)
Little boys are cute too! And they love cute things. Enjoy!
Wonderful!
I'm so excited for you!
I just bought some fabric from Summersville, on Etsy & it seems she has a lot of unisex prints, although I'm sure you already have your eye on some patterns!
Congrats! Little boys are lot's of fun :)
