This past Saturday a group of us drove our bikes up to the city and rode from Crissy Field, across the bridge, and down into Sausalito. We had lunch in Sausalito before taking the ferry to Fisherman's Wharf. I managed to get my camera out of my bag while biking on the bridge -- I had to get some pictures!
Then we rode to Ghiradelli Square and ducked into Kara's Cupcakes. It was heavenly. Not only were the cupcakes amazing (I got the passion fruit. Yum.), but the store design had me snapping pictures left and right. They letterpressed their logo onto the napkins! How awesome is that?
Before heading back home, we stopped by Little Otsu to check out the store and drop off my order. I loved the store -- they have some really neat stuff by indie artists and also under their own label. And it was so fun to see them put out my paper goods!
Oh, and Charlie came with us on the bike ride. We got her a little basket thing and strapped her in. She looked quite comfy in there and adorable as usual.

Oh, I am kicking myself for not trying on of those cupcakes when I was in San Francisco! I just LOVED the shop, it was so cute! This was my very first trip to San Francisco... oh how I loved it. I want to be there now. :) Looks like you had fun!!
Charlie is *too* cute. =)
Congratulations on your first wholesale order, heres to many more!
You are the winner of my print competition, so drop me an email with your address and I'll send it on it's way to you :)
.. I just saw a photo of Charlie in her basket (on Facebook). So so cute.
.. I LOVE Kara's cupcakes! Last time I was there, I asked the girl behind the counter about their design stuff. Somehow the conversation turned to the fact that she's in art school. I asked her where, and she replied "Rhode Island School of Design". Crazy small world. We had a lot of fun talking about that! Oh, and they're opening one in Palo Alto - at that shopping plaza on the corner of El Camino and Embarcadero! Let's meet there next time!
.. CONGRATS on your wholesale order! I'm so excited for you!
