The winter holidays came and went and finally, a post! Things have been pretty crazy around here, I'm not quite sure where to begin. I guess I should introduce our new baby boy first: Oscar!
Oscar was born on November 22nd and was 8lb 3oz and 20 inches long. I went into labor at about 11am that morning, and left for the hospital at about 3:30pm. By the time the doctor checked me at 4:15pm, I was already 8cm dilated. An hour later, my water broke and I was at 10cm and ready to push! I couldn't believe how fast it went, though I must say the pushing was much harder and longer than I had anticipated. I pushed for about 2 hours and seriously thought it would never end. But out he came and boy did he change our world! The last few weeks have been a blur, and felt both slow and fast. I'm so thankful that things are getting easier now that he is 6 weeks (already!). I still can't quite believe that this beautiful little life is here.

Oscar! Beautiful! I love his eyes, congrats! We just welcomed our little man on Dec. 30th... wow, pushing 2 hours! I pushed for 25 minutes, and they say that that is really good! So happy to hear that things are easier at 6 weeks... we are in love, but this is taxing on me and my husband! :)
