mini clips

As promised, I've finally added some new items to the shop! These little fabric-covered wooden clips are the first non-paper items in my shop. Each set is unique, and there is definitely a bit more "handmade-ness" to it than my cards and notebooks. I really enjoyed making these, and had a lot of fun mixing and matching colors and patterns. Hope you guys like them too! Oh, and new jotter designs should be coming soon as well.

Oh, and there's a little interview of me and giveaway here. I'm giving away a pocket workbook - deadline to enter is Tuesday night!

sprout

I bought some sprouts from the Japanese market the other day to throw in some salad and could not get over how pretty they look.

poor charlie

We had Charlie spayed last week, so she's been wearing a cone collar.. poor girl. She's been such a good sport about it too and only tried to get it off the first day. A few more days to go!

weekend in wine country

I'm finally getting around to posting some photos from our weekend up in Santa Rosa / Healdsburg. We took Friday off and spent the weekend in a 6-bedroom house we had rented with a big group of friends. There was a lot of eating and lounging around, and a bit of enjoying the good weather outside too.

I'm working on getting some new things in the shop by the end of the month. I hope I can do it!

curly

Some twisty curly leaves I found in the front yard. Such beautiful shapes.

Here are a few books I'm eyeing, and think you guys might be interested too. I'm especially excited about the Japanese-y one and the Lotta one.

magic

Our neighbor's Boston terrier, Magic, came over to play with Charlie the other day. Charlie was absolutely thrilled, but Magic was more interested in sniffing and exploring everything. It's so cute seeing them together. We made them sit next to each other for a picture. You can see it here.
